About the Book

In the book, Ntombizodwa has written an account of her experiences to inspire others: growing up in a mud hut in Tonteldoos without electricity, living in a shack in KwaMhlanga, being a teenage mother and working as a domestic worker, and acquiring a qualification. It is a story of hope and reassurance.

A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Help One Helper to raise funds towards helpers’ empowerment and education.

Take part on empowering helpers by donating as little as R10 or purchasing a copy of Brightness of Diamonds through Soil – a domestic worker’s passion for education.
